We Study
In Bhakti Marga we study the scriptures in order to deepen our loving relationship with God and with our Satguru and to learn more about this eternal bond. The main scriptures that we study are the Bhagavad Gita, Guru Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam – all embellished with the profound commentary of Paramahamsa Vishwananda. Bhagavad Gita
The Bhagavad Gita, in just 700 verses, describes God and how to connect with Him through bhakti.
It’s profound and must be explained by one who knows God. Paramahamsa Vishwananda has given the most simple and elegant commentary.
Srimad Bhagavatam
Paramahamsa Vishwananda has distilled the original 18,000 verses into the most endearing tales. His insightful commentaries reveal the hidden meaning in these stories and illustrate how to take the knowledge to heart and advance on your spiritual path.
Guru Gita
The Guru Gītā is a conversation between Lord Śiva and His wife, Parvati, on the nature of the guru-disciple relationship. Although it is not a Vaiṣṇava text, through the commentaries of Guruji, it has been adapted into Bhakti Marga’s theological framework.
